Squads.Win / Founder
MEET THE FOUNDER
The product and operating discipline behind a more human way to play together.
The founder’s point of view
Build the conditions for a better session.
Lea Gibson is a product and program leader focused on gaming monetization, marketplace operations, and platform execution. With 15+ years across product leadership and digital revenue, including 8 years at Microsoft, Lea brings measurable product thinking to a very human problem: helping families find a better way to play together.
That same discipline shapes Squads.Win: recruit the right leaders, design the session deliberately, and keep trust visible to the families the service is built for.
Why Squads.Win exists
Trust is part of the product.
Squads.Win began in 2016 as a youth gaming community and marketplace built around player trust and safety. The goal was never simply to put more players into a lobby. It was to create the conditions for a great co-op experience: the right people, the right session, clear expectations, and a parent-aware operating model.
Trust as the product
Private, age-aware experiences and leaders who are recruited, employed, and managed by Squads.Win.
Access without intimidation
Free membership and a welcoming path into gaming for all ages, skill levels, and playing styles.
Product discipline
A founder-led service shaped by experimentation, quality standards, and the realities of running a live gaming product.
The work behind the service
A product background with operational range.
Before and alongside Squads.Win, Lea built and led products across advertising monetization, digital commerce, cloud, and AI. That includes building a web advertising product line to IAB standards and leading quality-excellence and KPI programs across Microsoft Cloud + AI engineering work.
That background matters here because Squads.Win is not only a community idea. It is an operating system for trust: a managed roster, a deliberate session experience, and a business model that can sustain quality over time.
